Took a day of rest as a reminder to listen to the body, then started with light hill work on Sage (aka Weaver Dairy). No pace or distance in mind, just a complete run up the incline.
Used Weaver Dairy as the longest gradual uphill in the area. There are definitely steeper hills in the area, but the intent was light hill work, not muscle building, per se.
Interestingly, 300 feet of the 535 overall was done in the middlish 23 minutes, resulting in an incline of about 13 feet per minute. The remaining uphill footage of 235 feet over the rest of the time (40 minutes) was at an incline of 5.88 feet per minute.
Put in a reasonable effort down Weaver Dairy. Intent was control after the uphill climb.
